Karen’s Ministry

My powerful testimony—combined with my unique, gentle songs—draw people closer to God in a refreshing, yet challenging way.  The audience will feel encouraged to follow God’s calling; and to reach out to members of their communities.  Those who are going through difficult times will be assured that they can come to God for comfort and strength.

I would love to discuss how I can use my ministry to enhance and match up with your church’s current focus. I adapt my testimony and choice of songs to fit in neatly with your service requirements.

I am  available to speak at Sunday services, retreats, women’s events, seniors’ groups, conferences, social events, and other church functions.

History of this ministry

Not long after I became a Christian, God began to give me songs.

In 2006, I felt called to begin leading worship.

Whilst suffering from depression in 2008, I felt called to begin sharing my songs and testimony in other churches.

I recorded two CDs in 2011 and 2015.

My ministry has continued to grow over this time.

I have recently released my first children’s picture book.

“Karen’s story, interwoven with her own songs, is a testimony of God’s presence, power, and healing, and is a story which will speak and minister to every person, wherever they are on the journey of faith.”

Megan Jung

Minister, Williamstown Church of Christ

“We were really blessed when Karen came to Carnegie Church of Christ. Karen’s heartfelt testimony of her brokenness, and the power and love of Jesus to heal, were an inspiration to us. Many of the folk who came were not “churched” people, Karen’s warmth and openness helped them to feel at ease and open up to the work of God in their lives.  I would have no problems recommending her ministry.”

Peter Los- Pastor

Carnegie Church of Christ

“Karen’s testimony was uplifting, encouraging, and inspiring on many levels and was a blessing to all of us. It is a beautiful marriage of words and song which flow seamlessly together. God’s love, faithfulness, guidance and protection comes through powerfully in her presentation. Karen was encouraged to get out of her comfort zone and God honoured her obedience. A joyful and healing testimony.”

Jennifer Pearson

Ministry Team, Stawell Church of Christ

“The Ladies at Wonthaggi Baptist were touched by the message of your life’s journey, and how God has healed and blessed you.  So many comments were made about your soothing and encouraging songs and how you integrated them with your testimony, and especially that they were your own songs and written from your heart.  Thankyou for making the trip down and sharing your journey with us; you have been a real blessing.”

Wendy Thomas and the Women of Worth Team

Wonthaggi Baptist Church

“It was truly inspiring to hear how God worked, and still works, in Karen’s life. Her songs are so meaningful, and through them Karen gives glory to our heavenly Father.  Thankyou Karen and Jeff.  Keep sharing your testimony!”

Danijela Vasilevski

Lifeway Christian Church, Lara

“Thank you so much for giving us such an inspiring morning with your beautiful music. I have been playing your CD non-stop in the car and it is giving me inspiration to face the busy schedule I have each day lately.”

Karen’s Writing

She caught my eye the moment I walked into the room.  Her eyes were glazed over.  She looked scared.  But there was a touch of cheekiness hidden there too.

I’ll call her Melissa.  The student I’ll never forget.  She was only one of many needy students.  The majority had been sent here because they didn’t have jobs and hadn’t completed year 10.  I began to have my eyes opened to a whole new group of people.  People I once blamed for being homeless, taking drugs, stealing.  Now I saw them afresh.

Snippets of Melissa’s past were slowly revealed as she began to trust me more….
